Typical older Union 76 converted to TA. Old school but kept clean. Restaurant is fine if you like truck stop food, but if you're looking for haute cuisine as it seems most people are now-a-days then this probably isn't going to make you happy. I've had many a good meal here and I hate to see the restaurants closing at night or even permanently because everyone thinks that the world should cater to their every whim. I guess this is what you get when everyone wins a trophy and then life comes along and reality bites...
This visit to the restaurant was sub par at best. The service was great but the food however was the problem. I ordered a 16oz ribeye it was a bad cut and wasn't cooked like I asked. The wife had the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes. The potatoes tasted as though they had been left from the previous day. The salad bar was good everything looked fresh. Only reason for the bad review was the steak and mashed potatoes.
Great people, very clean showers, good water that actually washes off soap and dirt. Food and service at the restaurant were so-so.
Been coming here for years. Staff always excellent, food is great as well as prices. Best salad bar around, and best of all, no alchohol served!!!
Topical gas station prices, it wouldn't kill the cashier(s) to acknowledge they're interacting with another human being. Probably worth trying the Sinclair next door. Clean-ish restroom.
